Reintegration

When women and children are back in their country, AAT Reg. Thai works with them to build their future according to their choices and to undertake actions on prevention and protection in their communities. We first prepare women, families and communities to ensure stability while back home. We then set up several techniques for reintegration in order to develop best possibilities of the women and children. We then support employment or business development. We finally support women to develop community actions to prevent and protect themselves or others.

The reintegration process is implemented directly inside women’s communities.

When women and minors are already back home. AAT Reg. Thai works with them for their reintegration, finding an occupation, and community actions development for stable futures and to minimize the risks of re-trafficking.

AAT Reg. Thai has developed several techniques of reintegration to facilitate and develop the choices of target groups. Our process gives priority to direct community reintegration.

AAT Reg. Thai studies the community where target groups will be reintegrated and explore possibilities for work and livelihoods.

AAT Reg. Thai prepares target groups for reintegration through medical, psychological support and by building their empowerment capacity.

AAT Reg. Thai then works with target groups on the economic aspect of reintegration by building economic skills and management and by orienting and training them for the most appropriate career that fulfills both their choices along with community possibilities and market forces.

AAT Reg. Thai trains target groups on leadership capacity and how to prevent and protect themselves or others from the community from trafficking.

We then prepare families and communities for reintegration and create a good and protective environment for a woman’s return.

AAT Reg. Thai supports target groups throughout the reintegration process to help them start their new life such as support for accommodation, for family, and medical care.

We help them to build careers and generate incomes.
We finally support them to develop prevention and protection activities in their communities.
We follow up with them regularly.
