Return

The role of AAT Reg. Thai is to organize and facilitate repatriation to be safe and convenient for women and minors. AAT Reg. Thai works with both the origin and destination country on preparation, coordination and reception. Our role is to speed up the process, to work in order that victims will be well treated and not be re-trafficked at their arrival. It is also to make sure that their confidentiality will be respected and that they will not be persecuted.

AAT Reg. Thai participates to develop repatriation mechanisms between origin and destination countries and support embassies and relevant agencies for repatriation. AAT Reg. Thai follows up with them just after their return.


AAT Reg. Thai implements the return of victims in order to be adapted to their needs, as well as safe and convenient for them.

We first coordinate with relevant agencies and the families from home country for preparation of the return. We make sure that the victims will be repatriated to the safest place and as much as possible the place of their choice.

AAT Reg. Thai coordinates with relevant agencies to organize victim’s reception and transportation until they arrive at their home.

For difficult or risky cases we undertake the return by ourselves and escort the victims.

After the return, we follow up with the victims either by phone call or direct visits.

We participate to develop a repatriation process according to our lessons learned and addressing the obstacles we have faced during the previous
